News : Skuggsjá (Enslaved/Wardruna) premiere first video from new album

There’s no doubt that Skuggsjá, the new project from Enslaved‘s Ivar Bjornson and Wardruna‘s Einar Selvik, had some ritualistic vibes to it, and the title-track film clip follows that thread.

“The song ‘Skuggsjá’ or ‘The Mirror’ summons the listener to reflect. To ask, look and listen through the eyes and ears of past and present, as individuals first then as people. It´s about how we often timber our collective history on grounds shaped by religious or political agenda rather than reality and how that affects the solidness of its structure.”

If you missed the previous tracks then you can still stream “Kvervandi” and “Vitkispa”. Skuggsjá is set for release on March 11th through Season of Mist.
