News : Glenn Hughes’ dual set Australian tour

By on March 27, 2013

It’s less than a month now until Glenn Hughes hits Australian shores for three rather special solo shows spanning his lengthy, lengthy career. The dual set performances will kick off with an intimate acoustic solo set before launching into his full electric show, covering material from his time with Deep Purple MKIII, Black Country Communion and his string of solo projects.

On top of the regular shows, those in Melbourne get a few extra treats. Tuesday April 23rd will see Glenn drop by Readings Books in Carlton where he’ll be signing copies of his autobiography, and later that night he’ll be holding a 2 hour spoken word ‘storyteller’ session at Whole Lotta Love Bar in East Brunswick. There are very limited tickets, to be sure to book one through his website.

National support comes from Melbourne rockers Massive, who are coming off a national tour with the Miss Ink Australia competition.

Tickets are on sale now through GlennHughes2013.com

Monday 22nd April @ Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Wednesday 24th April @ Tempo Hotel, Brisbane
Thursday 25th April @ The Basement, Sydney
