News : Bateman channel the 80’s for their new video

By on January 27, 2013

Melbourne hardcore punk noise merchants Bateman transported themselves back to the 80’s for their first music video, “Like Clockwork”, as vocalist Garry Williams explains;

“Doing sweet tricks on your BMX and being a general nuisance is what inspired us when we were kids. Capturing it all on a VHS camera you stole from your uncle to replay at a house party serves as the general concept for our debut video, ‘Like Clockwork'”

The track comes off their Ultra Violence EP which was released early last year through Slippery Slope Records. To celebrate the video release, the band are hitting the stage in Mebourne and Adelaide;

Thursday Feb 7th @ The Hotel Metro, Adelaide
w/ Mara Jade and Starscream

Friday Feb 8th @ The Squatters Arms, Adelaide
w/ A Ghost Orchestra, One in the Chamber, Prowler and Trash City

Saturday Feb 23rd @ Gasometer, Melbourne
w/ Mara Jade, Ghost Orchestra, Terror Hawks and Treason
