News : Turisas tour not cancelled, Just Say Rock pull out

By on April 22, 2010

It’s really not surprising after the cancellation of Paradise Lost’s tour and the delay of the Stryper tour, but Just Say Rock are obviously in some sort of trouble and have now pulled out of the upcoming Turisas tour. According to the JSR website:

“Regrettably, Just Say Rock Productions has had to announce the cancellation of Turisas tour to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane for May 2010.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to ticket holders. For a full refund of your ticket, please take it back to your point of purchase.”

However, according to a recent post by Turisas, the band are currently in negotiations with another promoter:

“You may have seen an announcement by JSR that the Turisas Australian tour is cancelled. The truth is that they have gone bust and have pulled out of all their commitments, including our tour.

However, we are not willing to give up so easily, and are currently in negotiations with another promoter to save these shows and continue with the tour as planned. We are doing everything we can to make this happen. Everyone who has tickets already should hold on to them until further notice.

We will keep you updated, and please note that the only official word on this tour will come from us – ignore anything else you may hear!”
