News : Adelaide thrash metallers Hidden Intent sign with Scarlet Records

Adelaide based thrash metal three-piece, Hidden Intent, is quickly climbing the ranks of the metal world with their newly signed deal with Italian record company, Scarlet Records for the release of their brand new album ‘Fear, Prey, Demise’. The album was mixed and mastered by Andrew Kite at Against The Grain Studios.

The band’s 80’s throwback thrash metal style with its roots heavily embedded in the American and European thrash scenes has gained the attention of thrash metal enthusiasts worldwide. The band’s energetic and party laden shows have quickly become the band’s hallmark, supporting the likes of Artillery, Lich King, Destruction, Queensrÿche, Anvil, Venom Inc, plus a host of local music festivals including The New Dead Metal Festival and Blacken Open Air in Australia.
With lead vocalist/bassist Chris McEwen (ex-Abyzmal, ex-Obsidian Aspect) at the helm, and the lead guitars of riff-lord and backing vocalist Phil Bennett (ex-Desert Eagle/TKBF), the trio is completed with the more recent addition of Paul Lewis (Hawkai, ex-Death Boundaries, ex-Tidal) on drums.
The band’s new album ‘Fear, Prey, Demise’ is out July 6th. Click here to see the band’s official Scarlet Records page for more details.
