News : Rose Tattoo announce ‘Blood Brothers’ 2018 Australian tour

By on December 14, 2017

Australian Rock N’ Roll outlaws, Rose Tattoo have announced their Blood Brothers 2018 tour across Australia in March and April. This will be the band’s first major tour in Australia in over eight years. Inspired by a special invitation to Bang Your Head Festival in Germany back in July of this year, fans requested another tour. Frontman, Angry Anderson has assembled the finest musicians for this new run of tour dates.

Rose Tattoo’s assault comprises legendary bass player extraordinaire, Mark Evans of AC/DC fame, iconic guitarist Bob Spencer – The Angels & Skyhooks, the keeper of time, John ‘Watto’ Watson, Australian Crawl, Pete Well’s endorsed Dai Pritchard on slide and the quintessential front-man, the indomitable Angry Anderson.

Blood Brothers album was originally released in early 2007 to rave reviews such as “powerful, unrelenting and wildly uncompromising.” Rose Tattoo has been described as, “One of the most revered bands of all time. The Tatts play peerless, street-level, heavy blues with the emphasis on slide guitar and strident lyric statements” – Ian McFarlane Music Historian.

Rose Tattoo frontman, Angry Anderson comments on the upcoming tour.

“You, the loyal supporters and, you the newly found friends, deserve nothing but the best and, that’s just what you will get! Be there or be square!”
