News : Hadal Maw finally announce their new vocalist

By on March 28, 2016

Despite there being a few short videos and photos from Melbourne’s Hadal Maw in the studio, and even a gig announcement, the guys have been tight-lipped about who their vocalist is.

Previous frontman Jake Milne left the band in late 2015 due to throat infections, obviously tough for a vocalist. The band powered on live with instrumental sets and guest vocalists, but finally it has been made public; the new voice of Hadal Maw is Sam Dillon, who you may recorgnise from Lo! and Snakes Get Bad Press.

It’ll no doubt be a change in sound but the band stating that “his voice has shaped our sound into something significantly more aggressive than anything we could have hoped to imagine” is a pretty promising sounding sign.

April 15th is when you can catch them live with the new vocals and apparently some new tunes, at Melbourne’s Bendigo Hotel alongside Earth Rot, Hybrid Nightmares, Blackhelm and Annihilist.
