News : Divine Ascension Unveil Sophomore Record
The female-fronted prog metaller’s from Melbourne have been hard at work on their second album, ‘Liberator’, since 2013. And at long last, Divine Ascension are set to release the new record on November 21 via Swedish record label, Vicisolum Productions (who the band signed with only very shortly ago). Mixed and mastered by legendary Swedish record producer, Jens Bogren (Opeth, Symphony X, Soilwork, James LaBrie, and a ton more), Bogren helped layer the many progressive elements of the new record.
This will be Divine Ascension’s first album since 2011’s ‘As the Truth Appears’.
Divine Ascension had this to say of the new album:
We are extremely excited about working with Vicisolum to bring you our new release, Liberator, in November. We know it has been a long wait for some of you who have been eager for something new since our debut release, As The Truth Appears, in 2011, and can only say that it will be worth the wait.
The official tracklist for ‘Liberator’ has also been unveiled:
01. Dawn Brings No Mercy
02. Stronger
03. Liberator
04. My Contender Lies
05. Sorrow’s Sacrifice
06. Crystal Tears
07. Machine
08. Red Sky
09. The Final Stand
10. Hideaway
11. Memoria’s Longing
Congratulations to Divine Ascension on the wonderful news of their recent signing and album announcement!
