News : Frozen Doberman reform after 13 years, live show announced

By on January 1, 2010

90s heavy metal band Frozen Doberman have announced that the band has reformed and are set to play a reunion show at Sydney’s Manning Bar on March 13th alongside bands such as Hellmen, Nunbait, The Celibate Rifles and more in an event titled the ‘Monster Sessions‘.

Formed in late 1989, Frozen Doberman burst onto the Sydney Metal Scene in the 90’s. Releasing two EP’s and an album, the trash metal quartet played support to some of the world’s biggest metal bands including Sepultura and Motorhead as well as touring nationally up until the bands split sometime around 1996/7.

In December 2009, the band released a 9 Track collection on iTunes and currently hold plans to re-release both their 1991 EP Dying Phase and the 1994 debut album
Bonsai in 2010.

Tickets for the comeback gig go on sale shortly through Moshtix, so be sure to head down and catch the orignal lineup of one of Aussie metal’s founding bands!
