News : ‘Don’t Kill Live Music’ rally to commence in Sydney next week.

By on February 13, 2019

In the wake of the Mountain Sounds cancellation, due to the ongoing battle with the ‘war on festivals’ from the New South Wales State Government. A new initiative is calling on all music lovers in NSW to show support at the ‘Don’t Kill Live Music‘ rally, taking place on Thursday, 21st February at Hyde Park from 6pm to 8pm.

The ‘Don’t Kill Live Music’ rally wishes to bring music lovers and supporters together to show the State Government the harmful and obtuse regulations put in place which inevitably push to cancel major music festivals in NSW as they label them as “high-risk activities”.

While Premier Gladys Berejiklian continues to appear unwilling to listen to music festival organisers in New South Wales, we hope the support of music lovers in NSW at the ‘Don’t Kill Live Music’ rally can make a difference. If you’re unable to attend the rally next week, an online petition has been organised which has received well over 50,000 supporters already.
