News : Emperor touring Australia in April 2019; second Melbourne show added

Norwegian symphonic black metal masters, Emperor, have confirmed they will be touring Australia in April 2019 for two exclusive shows in Melbourne and Sydney to perform the classic 1997 release ‘Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk’. Soundworks Direct, the touring company responsible for this once in a lifetime tour have confirmed these shows will be exclusive to our region and will never be repeated again!

April 2nd – Sydney, Metro Theatre
April 3rd – Melbourne, 170 Russell
April 5th – Melbourne, 170 Russell – SECOND SHOW

Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk’ is Emperor’s second full-length album and received critical acclaim upon its release reaching #28 on the Finnish album charts. The album is considered by many as one of the greatest, if not, the greatest black metal album of all time.
