News : Brisbane’s Crowbar begins new venture Hearts MGMT, sign Melbourne’s PAGAN

Trad Nathan and partner Tyla Dombroski, owners of the long-standing Brisbane venue Crowbar have announced a new venture, partnering with like-minded artists to help them achieve big goals, both home and abroad with their new venture Hearts MGMT. Both Trad and Tyla have played in bands, toured and signed major deals around the globe, plus run one of Australia’s best metal venues, so they know a thing or two about the music industry.

The duo has locked in their first signing with Melbourne newcomers PAGAN, who are currently promoting their new album ‘Black Wash‘, out now via EVP Recordings. Hearts MGMT will undertake co-management of the Melbourne newcomers alongside UK Publicist and Artist Manager Hayley Connelly.

“We’re so happy to be able to join forces with Hayley and have a strong representation for our first band across the world.” says Trad, “Pagan are such a wonderful family to be around; they have a killer record and they put on one hell of a show. We can’t wait to get them overseas and taking on festival runs.” 

Hayley has owned and operated UK PR and Management company Little Press/Little MGMT for nine years, partnering with clients including My Chemical Romance, PVRIS, Pierce The Veil, Metallica, Northlane, Knocked Loose, Rise Records and Pure Noise Records, Slam Dunk Festival and 2000trees.

“I am so honoured to join forces with Hearts MGMT. I have known them for over a decade and represented Trad’s previous bands. That coupled with their wealth of knowledge in both music & business means that I am very excited to work alongside them in a new capacity”  says Connelly, who has been a big fan of Pagan after seeing them play at Crowbar during BIGSOUND 2017. “They had me from the first second and I immediately told them I wanted to work with them. They’re a very special band.“.
