News : DiveFest, a metal charity event coming to Cherry Bar this June

By on May 1, 2018

DiveFest 2018 is a heavy metal charity event organised to celebrate the life of Jake Dive who passed away in 2015 due to a rare form of cancer called Synovial Sarcoma. During that time, Jake was admitted to The Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) where they made him as comfortable as possible as he endured through this hard time.

Friends of Jake have joined forces to create DiveFest, an event to make a difference and help The Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre raise funds and awareness through heavy music. DiveFest will take place on Saturday, 9th June at Cherry Bar in Melbourne.

All money raised from the event will go directly to The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The event organisers have put together a solid line-up which includes; Hybrid Nightmares, Wolfpack, Devil Electric, Merchant and heaps more. See event poster below for full line-up.
