News : Queens Of The Stone Age touring Australia this August/September.

Queens Of The Stone Age, helmed by founding member Joshua Homme (guitar/vocals), with Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar), Dean Fertita (guitar/keys), Jon Theodore (drums/percussion) and Michael Shuman (bass) will return to Australia on their Villains World Tour, performing seven massive headline shows for Frontier Touring throughout August and September. They will be joined at all shows by Australian blues maestro C.W. Stoneking.

To meet overwhelming demand, Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce that Queens Of The Stone Age will perform second and final shows in both Sydney and Melbourne, with the first Sydney show sold out.

The newly-announced Sydney show will take place on Saturday 1 September at the Hordern Pavilion. Melbourne also gets a second gig, on Saturday 8 September at Margaret Court Arena.

Tickets for both of the new shows will go on sale at 12noon AEST on Wednesday 9 May, with a Frontier Members pre-sale beginning tomorrow (Tuesday 8 May) – see frontiertouring.com/QOTSA for all the details.

Helmed by founding member Joshua Homme (guitar/vocals), with Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar), Dean Fertita (guitar/keys), Jon Theodore (drums/percussion) and Michael Shuman (bass), Queens of The Stone Age will kick off the AU & NZ leg of their Villains World Tour at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday 23 August.

From there, the rock’n’roll legends will perform a second New Zealand date at Christchurch’s Horncastle Arena, before landing in Australia to perform shows in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne and Adelaide closing out the tour at Perth Arena on Wednesday 12 September. These shows make good on Homme’s promise made while on our shores last year of returning before too long:
