News : Caligula’s Horse announce 3 exclusive shows ahead of European tour

By on April 12, 2018

Australia’s foremost authority on progressive rock, Caligula’s Horse, have announced three exclusive shows ahead of their return to Europe performing at Euroblast Festival, Prog Power Europe and Very Prog Festival with more to be announced. The lads will be performing their latest release In Contact which made its way into the Top 50 Aria Charts.

The new album In Contact is out now. Click here to secure your copy.

Caligula’s Horse will be performing the new album in full along with a selection of fan favourites. Caligula’s Horse will be joined by special guests James Norbert Ivanyi and Opus Of A Machine.

James Norbert Ivanyi: One of the most original, commanding and versatile young guitarists on the scene today. James’ unique style of technical modern metal fused with the classic sounds of 1960’s and 1970’s progressive rock music have seen his fan base transcend generations and genres. His recent appearance at this year’s Progfest won him unanimous praise and he has become one of the most in-demand online guitar teachers in the country!

Featuring former Caligula’s Horse guitarist, Zac Greensill, Opus Of A Machine are pushing the creative boundaries of alternative, progressive rock by combining the experimental nature of the genre’s foundation with an electro, pop edge. Technical wizardry meets emotional introspection. Pumping synths and skyscraping melodies pinned down by a rock-solid groove, this band was made to be seen live!

These are smaller, more intimate venues, and will no doubt sell out fast! Get in quick and secure your tickets now or you’ll be sure to miss one of the most potent progressive music shows of the year!

Friday, August 3: Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Saturday, August 11: Woolly Mammoth, Brisbane
Thursday, August 16: Howler, Melbourne
Tickets on sale: Friday, April 13 @ 10.00am
