News : King Parrot & Child Bite headlining Under The Southern Cross Festival

Melbourne’s much loved and revered grindcore heroes, King Parrot, will be the main headliner for this years Under The Southern Cross Festival in Sydney. The festival has been going nine years strong with an annual mandatory date on the Aussie metal calendar with 15 bands currently confirmed to play this year.

In addition, US heavy hitters Child Bite will also be included on the bill as the co-headlining support. See below for full details and supports.

With 9 years of successful history, the annual event has grown into a mandatory date on the Australian metal calendar and the bar has been raised higher again for next year with 15 of the nation’s best bands confirmed to play!

UTSC Metal Fest decided to expand the event and to included our mates from across the Tasman in New Zealand three years ago, so this year we are now including Christchurch and also we are taking it to Melbourne.

Taking place at its rightful home, The Bald Faced Stag in Sydney, the 2018 line up is going to hard to beat.

And for the first time in its history will include a International band fro the USA plus an All Ages show on the Sunday.

We would like to welcome our 2018 headiners the mighty King Parrot and from Detroit, Michigan, noise rock/hardcore punk/heavy metal band Child Bite

We will have the Aftershock DJs pumping out metal all day plus drink specials, great food..
