The Black Swamp

Sydney thrasher Flaming Wreckage and Brisbane sludge masters The Black Swamp will be going joining force in February and March next year for the Witches and Wolves tour across Australia.

Watch the tour video below.

The Black Swamp will hit the road with their new EP Witches (which will be released on February 1st). Recorded at Housefox Studio’s in Sydney with studio head Ryan Miller (Black Rheno) at the helm of production, the new EP will mark the first release with vocalist Luke Hosking (Azreal) on board.

Witches delves further into The Swamp’s desire to bring the music straight from the band to the ear, with most of the instruments having been tracked live by the band. The quintet again focus in on raw sounds, channeling metal pioneers Black Sabbath and Doom/Sludge metallers Crowbar. The EP is released independently on February 1st 2018, available on CD via Bandcamp or for digital purchase or streaming across all platforms.

Celebrating a year since the release of their second album, From Flesh To Dust, Flaming Wreckage are kicking off 2018 in the heaviest way possible. Taking their unique brand of heavy thrash and death metal around the country. See below for the full list of tour dates.
