News : Gene Simmons announces 2018 Australian tour

By on October 20, 2017

Legendary rock icon, Gene Simmons has announced his return to Australian shores next year with shows confirmed in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. This will mark Simmons’ first solo tour of the country, performing solo material alongside KISS classics in an intimate setting for the legion of KISS Army fans across the country. The Gene Simmons Band features Ryan Cook (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Asbrock (guitar/vocals), and Phil Shouse (guitar/vocals) and Brent Fitz (drums).

Gene Simmons comments:

Doing these smaller concert halls, which hold a thousand to three thousand people, means they get filled up by real diehard fans. They don’t want to hear the same-old, same-old. They want to hear nuggets, as they say. It’s a hoot for me because I’ve never really had a chance to do this stuff live. It’s been a lot of fun.”

The tour will also commemorate the release of the Gene Simmons Vault. The Vault is a limited edition collectable box, celebrating 50 years (1966 – 2016) of Gene Simmon’s life in music and is jam-packed with never released material and rare collectables. All housed in a literal 20kg vault. Click here to find out more about The Vault.
