News : Our Last Enemy announce new members and new tunes

By on October 3, 2017

Sydney based metal outfit Our Last Enemy are back with new members, new music and a new partnership after a lengthy hiatus. During 2016 majority of the band spent the better half of their time working on new material for the follow-up to 2011’s Fallen Empires (which hit #1 on the iTunes Metal Chart in Australia) through their US label Eclipse Records.

First up, the new members. The band are proud to announce the addition of Frankie Macri (The Chaotic Borderline, As Angels Bleed) as their new permanent drummer following the departure of longtime drummer, Zot. In addition, the band will be joined by Wade Norris (Face Of Mutiny, Candypain) filling in on guitars for Bryce ‘Bizz’ Bernius who has taken time off for family reasons.

The band comments: “Frankie’s ‘powerhouse drumming, drive and commitment will take us to the next level.’ while Frankie says ‘I am very lucky, and thankful to be in Our Last Enemy. Since the first time I heard the band – I was a fan, and said to myself that I wanna play in this band one day!

Our Last Enemy have partnered with influential horror novel publisher Cemetery Dance Publications, home to legendary writers such as Stephen King, Clive Barker, Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury, William Peter Blatty and many more to giveaway free copies of the new book from applauded author Michael Aronovitz, titled Alice Walks which has been heralded as ‘the most frightening E-Book of the decade‘.
The giveaway is open to people who buy pre-sale tickets to OLE’s Brisbane and Sydney shows, where 10 winners from each show will be drawn at random to win!
All shows on the tour have a Halloween theme and will have a ‘best dressed’ prize also so wear your best Halloween attire!
