News : Orpheus Omega unveil music video and closing of the ‘Partum Vita Mortem’ album cycle

By on June 25, 2017

Existence is cyclical…

Melbourne’s Orpheus Omega have announced a brand new music video for the song “Echoes Through Infinity”, and with it also, the closing of the Partum Vita Mortem album cycle. Following the band’s news a couple weeks back about a charity auction for their stage outfits, Orpheus Omega round out their two-year long cycle of Partum Vita Mortem‘s release with “Echoes Through Infinity”, the last in a 3-part music video series chronicling the themes of the album – birth, life, and death. The series first began with “Karma Favours The Weak” and was continued with “Tomorrow’s Fiends and Yesterday’s Ghosts”.

Orpheus Omega comment:

With the passing on of the uniform comes the end of Partum Vita Mortem and the final video in the story, this song is about the journey past, present & future, about all the hardship and all the highs we as a band have seen, about loss & about growth. And knowing that no matter what hits us and what happens we’ll push on, with all the strengths that seeps from us.

The music video for “Echoes Through Infinity” was produced and directed by Dani Nolan and Joao Goncalves (also Orpheus Omega’s guitarist), filmed and edited by Dani Nolan (clear reel), with make up by Nikki Harrison MUA, and uniforms from Teagan Malkoutzis.
