News : In Hearts Wake Announce Australian Headline Tour, Reveal Brand New Track
In Hearts Wake have announced their first and only Australian tour for 2017, which will see the band play their biggest headlining shows to date. Kicking off in Perth on July 10, the tour will wind its way around the country, taking in venues in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Joining In Hearts Wake on the road will be Japanese mosh warriors Crossfaith, who haven’t been seen in these parts since their epic sets on Soundwave 2015. Also trekking across the ocean will be Sheffield bruisers While She Sleeps who were last spied in Australia destroying stages before Bring Me The Horizon in February. Sydney up-and-comers Polaris round out this epic line up.
Alongside the tour announcement, In Hearts Wake have revealed their brand new track “Warcry”, a preview of what the Byron Bay crew are currently working on.
In Hearts Wake explain the concept of “Warcry”:
“A Warcry is made to rally those for battle or to gather participants together for a campaign. The current systems in place are violently pitting us against each other, propelling our species towards our own extinction. This track is a call to come together, to unite peacefully against the forces that are currently destroying life on Earth and the resources that support it. The time is now.
“The words of the verse are the vision of a Seer, who speaks of a dark and horrific future to come. The chorus defies this nihilistic prophesy outright. We, the New Generation, will not idly sit back and watch the abuse of our world. If we do not take timely action, then we are passively contributing to the Seer’s bleak prediction. Our inaction is part of the problem; let us answer the Warcry and become part of the solution. What kind of a world do you wish for tomorrow–to ensure a tomorrow…”
Presented by UNFD, Hysteria Mag & New World Artists.
