It’s now under a month until the Thrash, Blast & Grind festival, and now one of the festival tour’s main acts, Sydney’s Black Rheno, have been announced to be a part of the prestigious SXSW 2017 in Austin, Texas.

Proudly a part of the most thrilling antipodean metal line-up for years, BLACK RHENO are Sydney’s newest heavy groove exponents. They roared on to the scene late in 2015 with a unique sound coupled with an insatiable work ethic. A scorching debut EP ‘Let’s Start a Cult’ (which scored 9.5/10 Heavy Mag) and subsequent hysterical video release saw them stripping the tyres off their tour van tearing up and down the east coast throughout 2016. 2017 will be no different; with the band invited to showcase at the prestigious SXSW festival in Austin, Texas in March, on their maiden overseas voyage. An incredible feat for a band just over 12 months old!

With the Thrash, Blast & Grind festival also featuring the talents of King ParrotPsycropticRevocation and Whoretopsy, it won’t be one you’ll want to miss out on. The tour kicks off next month.
