By on November 6, 2016

Without The Black Wreath there’s a good chance we wouldn’t have heard of these bands. The Alice Spring based label have been championing NT metal for 5 years now, holding the Annual Blacken the Globe festival (which has seen band as big as Psycroptic, King Parrot and Disentomb make the trip to perform) and releasing some killer albums.

To celebrate the milestone they are releasing a compilation album featuring some of the Northern Territory’s finest, which will be available as download and CD from their website on November 11th.

Track list:
Exdemission – Anarchy Revised
Miazma – Beyond Repressed
Uncreation – White Devil
Southeast Desert Metal – The Giant
The Horror – Decuntstruction
Exdemission – Third World War (1984)
Southeast Desert Metal – Eagle
The Horror – Mutilated Memories
Uncreation – Unspeakable Things
Miazma – North

On the same date Miazma, The Horrow, Southeast Desert Metal, SNAKES and Didgeridoomerang (what a name!) will be getting together for a gig at the Gap View Hotel in Alice Springs.
