News : Premiere: Drudkh Unveil Full Split LP With Sweden’s Grift

Ukrainian black metal aficionados, Drudkh, who Metal Obsession have had the pleasure to cover in the past, are proudly unveiling the next portion of their split release foray into new music. After presenting the track, “Fiery Serpent”, from their previous split release with Hades Almighty, next comes two tracks from a forthcoming split with Sweden’s Grift.

The split release, which is entitled Betrayed By The Sun / Hägringar will be released on September 16 via Nordvis / Season of Mist.

Here are a few words from Grift frontman/instrumentalist, Erik Gärdefors, on doing the split with Drudkh:

“It felt completely natural for me to do a collaboration with Ukrainian Drudkh, because we are both very interested in our respective countries’ traditions, writing and literature, which in many ways has inspired us to create what we actually do.”
