News : Italy’s Hierophant premiere sludgy new track “Mass Grave”

By on August 24, 2016

Italy’s Hierophant are the perfect band for when you need a concise slab of sludge. 2014’s Peste was a bit of a more aggressive deviation but if anything the title track from their new album Mass Grave, and first with guitarist Lollo on vocal duties, they’re even sludgier than ever.

It’s a simple, plodding track that will have your head nodding.

“This song expresses the path we took in the best way. It represents a new chapter for the band since we have had changes in our line-up. The world is falling apart day by day and we are all part of this enormous and disgusting mass grave.”

Mass Grave is due out on November 4th through Season of Mist.
