News : Diploid announce tour, streaming track from “Is God Up There?”

By on August 4, 2016

Diploid are one of those bands that throws a bit of everything into short, noisy, frantic tracks; grind, post-punk, screamo, powerviolence, it’s all there. Ahead of the release of their new album Is God Up There? (it’s excellent, trust us), the first new track “Barrels” is streaming below.

They’re hitting the road too for some no doubt chaotic live shows, hitting up New Zealand first alongside The World at a Glance and then back home for a few Aussie shows.

22 Sep – Wellington – Valhalla
23 Sep – Hamilton – Biddy Mulligan’s
24 Sep – Auckland – Whammy Bar
25 Sep – Auckland – Flying Out (AA)
13 Oct – Bendigo Hotel, Melbourne
24 Nov – Newcastle – Hamilton Station Hotel
25 Nov – Sydney – Beatdisc Records (AA)
26 Nov – Sydney – Black Wire Records (AA)
2 Dec – Brisbane – Via Studios
3 Dec – Brisbane – Fat Louie’s

Is God Up There? is out on Sept 6th through Art As Catharsis Records with pre-orders, including cassette, over on Bandcamp.
