With Brewtality Festival returning to Melbourne on August 6, and coming to Sydney for the first time ever on August 13, Brewtality have announced a few big updates concerning the annual event.

2016 headliners, New South Wales’ Toe To Toe are unable to perform this year’s festival. In their place will be psychobilly-metal-speed-rockers, Fireballs, from Melbourne. The band – like Toe To Toe before them – will be performing as a headlining act at both the Melbourne and Sydney shows. For anyone seeking a refund due to Toe To Toe not playing, please contact point of purchase before 20 July 2016.

Also newly added to the Melbourne lineup,

Sumeru (NSW)
“At one shout, the Great Earth trembles; at one blow of the stick, Mount Sumeru shatters to pieces”
The FckUps
The Fckups are an all natural, great tasting antidote to the Technicolor bile of our consumer culture.
To experience the Fckups is to be immersed in a visceral cyclone of euphoric energy; raging against conformity to the mainstream; raging against the manipulative pap that peddles the fear that ‘You’re not good enough’; raging against the powers that make every effort to homogenize our culture.
The Fckups preach the gospel that we all must embrace and dance with our ‘inner fckup’. Be empowered by your inner Fckup. Feel the awesome power.
Hailgun
Formed in late 2011 from Melbourne Australia, Hailgun play short, fast, angry, early 80’s influenced hardcore/thrash.
Influences include Gang Green, Minor Threat, Citizens Patrol, Direct Control and Government Warning.
Since forming the three piece have relentlessly toured Australia, Europe, South East Asia & New Zealand. They have supported Limp Wrist, Poison Idea, Spermbirds, Vitamin X and Tragedy. The band have released a 7″ EP, a 12″ album, a split 7″ with New Zealand hardcore band Master Blaster and a discog CD featuring an as of yet unreleased 7″.
“Like a Minor Threat record played at 45rpm, Hailgun puts the “fast” in fastcore.”
The Sleepless
Melbourne’s own punk blues band, The Sleepless. On a mission to bring quality live music back one show at a time.
Rathead
A two-piece punk band from Shepparton, Victoria.

And newly added to the Sydney lineup will be Flaming Wreckage,

Formed in 2009, ‘Flaming Wrekage’ have proved themselves as a unique metal act. Having shared the stage with some of Australia’s finest metal act, the hard hitting quartet are on the way to establishing themselves as a driving force in the Australian heavy metal scene.
The band has always focused on delivering an intense and memorable live show.
