News : Subterranean Disposition announce new album, stream first single “Wooden Kimono Fixative”

By on April 21, 2016

The debut from Melbourne’s Subterranean Disposition a few years back was a superb, interesting slab of melodic death-doom and it’s sounding like the next one, Contagiuum and the Landscapes of Failure will be too.

There was a sneaky early preview ages ago with a demo of “Wooden Kimono Fixative” appearing on a compilation that label Hypnotic Dirge Records put out, and now with the album announcement we have the final version below.

While founder Terry Vainoras (Order of Chaos, ex-The Eternal, ex-Earth) handles the majority of vocals and instrumentation, he has brought some other musicians on board as well; Dan Nahum (The Veil, Dead River Runs Dry) is the man behind the kit, there are guest vocals from Daniel Lucas, and Gelareh Pour adds Kemancheh and Qeychak Alto. Those last two things are stringed instruments, to save you the Google search.

The album is due for release on June 13.

Contagiuum and the Landscapes of Failure track listing:

  1. Hungry Ghosts on Rotten Soil
  2. Wooden Kimono Fixative
  3. Embittered
  4. All Roads Lead to Perdition
  5. A Lifelong Slumber
  6. Aggressors Clothed as Victims
