If you were paying close attention to Facebook last week, you would have no doubt seen or heard the hint bombs Frontier Touring were literally napalming across social media with the forthcoming announcement of American metal group Disturbed making a return to Australian shores later this year.  Disturbed were set to perform at this year’s Soundwave Festival, but that won’t be happening any more due to the events that unfolded which lead to the demise of the long running Australian travelling music festival. For those of you who live outside of Australia, you can get the full run down of Soundwave Festival and its eventual collapse here.

The wait is officially over as the confirmed tour dates of the Disturbed tour went public at 7am AEDT this morning.

Sorry Adelaide, no dates for you! Is what a character on Seinfeld performed by Larry Thomas would say.

Wed 9 Nov – HBF Stadium, Perth
Sat 12 Nov – Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne
Sun 13 Nov – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
Tue 15 Nov – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Fri 18 Nov – Vector Arena, Auckland

In addition Melbourne premier alternative metal group Twelve Foot Ninja will be getting down with the sickness alongside Disturbed, supporting them across Australia.

If you’re a member of Frontier Touring, you’ll be eligible to purchase tickets before the general public on Wednesday 6th April. Tickets to the general public go on sale Friday 8th April.

Head to Frontier Touring for more information.

IT’S TIME! Disturbed will be hitting Australia and New Zealand for a run of arena shows this November. Joining the legendary Chicago four-piece for all Australian shows will be Melbourne hard rockers Twelve Foot Ninja.

A not-to-be missed show from a reinvigorated band of four ready to take to the stage and show Australia and New Zealand what they’ve been missing. Not since 2011 have they graced our shores, and if their 2016 performances are anything to go by, these shows will take fans on the ride of their lives.
