News : Greytomb release debut album “A Perpetual Descent” a week early

By on March 23, 2016

We were pretty damn stoked to have the relatively new Greytomb (once an entirely different beast known as Subterranean Drilling Machine) perform at our 7th Birthday show last year and have been very patiently awaiting some recordings.

An early demo we heard sounded superb and now armed with a vocalist you’ll recognise from Adamus Exul, Feralian and Internal Harvest, who fits in perfectly, the debut album is sounding incredible. Dropping a week and a half earlier than expected, the four track A Perpetual Descent is available over on their Bandcamp and ultimately a must-hear for atmospheric/post- black metal fans.

We’ll have a review up soon with more detailed thoughts but for now, check it out yourself.

Melbourne folk can catch Greytomb launch the album live on April 2nd at the Reverence Hotel with Oath of Damnation over from South Australia plus AK-11, Vahrzaw and Aeonian.
