News : More bands added to Stormrider Heavy Metal Fest

Earlier this week Metal Obsession reported on the first announcement for Western Australia’s Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival line-up. Tasmanian metallers, Taberah were the first band announced for the festival’s 8 band line-up.

We now have confirmation that new additions have been added to the Stormrider Festival, which include; Melbourne thrash metallers Mason, Blackened Thrash metal trio BloodlustNecromancer from Western Australia, and most recently, Adelaide’s Hidden Intent, who released their latest single “Addicted to Thrash”.

Perth Power metallers Silent Knight are the sixth band added to the Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival line-up. Silent Knight have claimed great success after their 2015 release, ‘Conquer and Command’. Silent Knight have since played two overseas festivals, three east coast tours and supported the likes of Helloween, Zakk Wylde and Megadeth‘s Dave Ellefson guitar clinic Australian tour.

Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival, Western Australia’s only annual metal festival dedicated to Traditional, Power, Thrash, Prog and Speed Metal, returns for its third year in a row. Stromrider will be held at its new inner city venue at the Amplifier Bar in Perth on Friday, 17th June 2016.

Perth thrash metallers Cold Fate have further been added as the next addition to the Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival line-up. Sharing their influences on their sleeve, Cold Fate pay homage to the likes of Overkill, Testament, and Slayer.
