News : Dallas Frasca To Head To Europe To Support The BellRays + Farewell Shows In Australia

Melbourne based rock trio Dallas Frasca have announced the massive news that they will be touring internationally this May for a 23-date tour across Europe, in support of Californian garage rock/soul group, The BellRays; the same band of whom Dallas Frasca supported last August during The BellRays’ Australian tour. During their run of Europe, the band will perform in France, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany.

During the week’s worth of shows last year when the two bands toured together, they hit it off immediately, and the notion of The BellRays taking Dallas Frasca on tour with them seemed a natural choice.

“This tour will be a great opportunity for the band to break new territories in Europe and road test a stack of new material the band have been working on. I am also such a huge fan of Lisa Kekaula’s ridiculously awesome voice (also known for Basement Jaxx hit song, ‘Good Luck’) so will be super cool to watch ‘The BellRays’ every night on the tour,” said Dallas Frasca. “We all had so much of a good time on the Australian tour, we decided to head into Hot House Studio in St Kilda and lay down a track together featuring both bands, it was an incredible honour to be in the presence of greatness – stay tuned for the release.”

Dallas Frasca are no stranger to touring, having been on the road, touring over the course of the past decade. Most recently, the band have been touring in support of their latest album, ‘Love Army’, an album which debuted at #29 on the ARIA Albums Chart and #10 on the ARIA Australian Artist Albums Chart in April 2015. One of the single’s off that record, “Success Is The Best Revenge”, further went on to become the theme song to Australian tattoo artist reality TV show, Bondi Ink.

Before Dallas Frasca hit Europe with The BellRays, the Melbourne locals are due to hit the Australian east coast for a short farewell tour, covering select dates in their hometown of Melbourne and then Sydney. The last date of the short tour will see Dallas Frasca play the Cherry Rock Festival at the famous Cherry Bar on AC/DC Lane alongside Ritchie Ramone, Kadavar, and Supersuckers.
