News : Ill Omen slow things down with third album “Æ.Thy.Rift”

By on February 9, 2016

Sydney one-man-band Ill Omen has released some pretty killer black metal in the past so news of another release is more than welcome. Little did we expect something sitting so heavily on the funeral doom end of things. There’s still a hint of black metal, more in vibe and tone than anything else, but from the brief listen we’ve had it’s sounding superb regardless.

It’s dark, and bleak, and absorbing.

March 31st is the international release date via Nuclear War Now! Productions. The artwork and rather unexciting tracklist are below, and we’ll be sure to spread the news when some audio goes public. It’s one to get excited for.
