Melbourne based booking, touring and management company Wild Thing Presents have proudly announced the signing of three new bands to their already impressive roster. Joining the ranks of Wild Thing Presents are Chaos Divine, Jack The Stripper, and Dyssidia. These bands join the likes of already-signed acts, Caligula’s Horse, Glass Ocean, AlithiA, and Orsome Welles.

Leading audiences and listeners through a journey of uncompromising arrangements, crushing heavy riffs and soaring melodies, Perth’s enigmatic prog metal five-piece Chaos Divine have well and truly immersed themselves in a realm of sound and style matched by few, and admired by many. Chaos Divine have carved out an impressive reputation for delivering a powerful and dynamic live show, which has seen them support the likes of Slayer, Mastodon, TesseracT, Animals As Leaders, and Between The Buried And Me. Their latest release Colliding Skies has been heralded globally as one of 2015’s best progressive heavy albums. Chaos Divine are joining Caligula’s Horse on a national tour run in April, which will coincide with the release of their latest single ‘Badge Of Honour’ and subsequent video clip.

Melbourne’s Jack The Stripper have cemented their reputation amongst the heavy music scene of Australia with their fierce and innovative brand of chaotic hardcore, a relentless work ethic and an atypical, ferocious on-stage prowess. Jack The Stripper live is a boundary-pushing, total sensory-inclusive, interactive extreme experience. The band’s candid and visceral approach has gained them many plaudits from both fans and critics alike, leading them to be listed as “the best heavy live performance in Australia” by Triple J. Following the release of the critically acclaimed Raw Nerve (2013), the band has gone on to tour Australia and Asia

(including Japan) extensively, supporting heavy powerhouses such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Cancer Bats, King Parrot, Northlane, and Ne Obliviscaris. Jack The Stripper are currently working on their second album, due to be released in the not too distant future.

Infusing bone-crushing riffs with rich harmonies, graceful melodies with brutal growls, and breathtaking soundscapes with intricate rhythms, Adelaide’s foremost progressive metal act Dyssidia have crafted a unique sound amongst their peers. The band has quickly become a force to reckoned with, gracing stages with internationally acclaimed acts such as Opeth, Tesseract, The Ocean, Caligula’s Horse, and Klone. The band’s latest release, Children Of Aether And Earth (2015), blends an abundance of musical styles and emotions, combined with the melodic and technical prowess that Dyssidia have become renowned for. With national touring on the horizon and major plans for a new release due in 2016, there is no slowing down the future of Dyssidia.
