News : Envenomed reveal final artwork for new EP and release date

By on January 19, 2016

Melbourne based melodic thrashers Envenomed have unveiled the final artwork for their forthcoming EP, ‘Reckoning’, which is to be released February 5th at the Bendigo Hotel, Collingwood (as a part of the Melbourne show for Truth Corroded‘s ‘Last of the Slain’ Australia tour).

‘Reckoning’ is the band’s first new effort since their 2014 debut album, ‘Evil Unseen’, which received strong reviews across the board at the time of its release. It will also feature rerecorded, and, in the band’s own words, “reinvigorated” tracks from their original self-titled EP, which establishes the current energy and drive of Envenomed.

Freelance Melbourne artist Thrashwolf once again came on board for the new project, and alongside the previously revealed EP artwork, now reveals a brand new band logo for Envenomed; seeing the band fully embrace the new year as one full of new music and fresh ambitions.

The band released this official statement via their Facebook page:

WE ARE PROUD to unveil the final artwork for our upcoming EP “RECKONING” due for release on Febuary 5th 2016 @ The Bendigo Hotel, Collingwood.
RECKONING reveals the 1st brand new material from the band since 2014’s debut album EVIL UNSEEN plus ReRecorded & Reinvigorated tracks from our original EP, capturing the current energy the band. A Big Shout out to Thrashwolf for the Stellar cover art and new logo design!
Stay tuned over the next week kids as we will be dropping the 1st new single off the release shortly!!
