Broozer II album launch 2015

From out of the dark, dwelling undergrowth of the earth walks a three headed beast amongst the weary mortal men; this Monster has been described as ‘a Mastodon fighting a Brontosaurus in a jungle surrounded by Zulu Warriors, Vikings and Druids’, this described beast is Melbourne’s very own BROOZER.

Following on off the debut 12.04.2012 ; “II” is a monolithic delivery of wicked tales and nightmares that you can only imagine of a Psychopaths journal.
Fielding influence from classic and cult SiFi/Gore/Horror, Crime, Cult Mythology and personal illusive dreams, “II’ is a brutal attack on the listeners psyche.

Broozer brings such a defined sound of complex crushing metal, teamed up with schizophrenic rhythm structures and bleak, misanthropic themes; and most importantly, you can’t fit them to a genre. They’ve made original music that’s fucking cool, didn’t shit the bed when it came to recording, and they’ve done it twice. Bravo fellas. Bravo.
-Jackyboy, Desert Highways.
The band have opted to keep the three-piece vibe alive on their recordings, which means for minimal (if any) overdubbed parts, forcing all three to absolutely bring it on their instruments. A stripped-back, galloping approach to the drums by Dario Amati is just what Bruce Ibbotson’s evil rhythms and alien licks needed, all wrapped up by Bile’s whisky-scorched vocals.
– Robyn Morrison, Heavy Magazine.
