News : Parkway Drive show change of direction with “Vice Grip”

By on June 9, 2015

Parkway Drive are the band that people either love or love-to-hate, but after years of being one of the big boys in Aussie hardcore, their new track “Vice Grip” might see some people swap groups. It’s obviously not possible to judge a whole album from the first single, but the hard rock-meets-In Flames-esque simple melodeath of the new single definitely isn’t what we saw coming.

The album, Ire, comes out on September 25th, with pre-orders now available through the Parkway Drive website.

The guys are touring alongside Suicide Silence, Memphis May Fire and The Word Alive to launch Ire on the following dates;

Sept 23@ Red Hill Auditorium, Perth
Sept 25 @ Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
Sept 26 @ Festival Hall, Melbourne
Sept 27 @ Odeon Theatre, Hobart
Oct 2 @ Riverstage, Brisbane
Oct 3 @ High School, Byron Bay
Oct 9 @ Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
Oct 10 @ UC Refectory, Canberra
Oct 10 @ Panthers, Newcastle 18+
