News : Orpheus Omega Announce National ‘Partum Vita Mortem’ Album Tour

By on June 3, 2015

Recent Kolony Records signees and Melbourne-based melodeath kings Orpheus Omega have made the exciting announcement today that they will be venturing forth across Australia on a national album tour in support of their upcoming opus, ‘Partum Vita Mortem’ (due out on July 24 via Kolony Records).

Presented by Welkin Entertainment and supported by Metal Obsession and TrendKill Magazine, Orpheus Omega are set to kick off their tour on July 30th at the Barwon Club, Geelong alongside special guests Stormtide, Hollow World, and more. They will then touch base across the rest of Australia for their massive fifteen date tour, hitting the likes of Warrnambool, Canberra, Hobart, Sydney, and more.

ORPHEUS OMEGA will be embarking across Australia in support of the release of their highly anticipated third album entitled ‘PARTUM VITA MORTEM’ due out worldwide on July 24 through Kolony Records.

Since the release of 2013’s acclaimed ‘ResIllusion’, ORPHEUS OMEGA have cemented themselves as one of Melodic Death Metal’s most promising newcomers. After a slew of national support slots with Dark Tranquillity, Children Of Bodom, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie and more, followed by a 2 week headlining tour of Asia, the band are now ready to unleash their 3rd album, ‘Partum Vita Mortem’, a concept album exploring the human condition through Birth, Life and Death across an hour of unrelenting musicianship. Featuring aggressive and melodic guitar work, intricate and powerful drumming, chaotic keyboard work and a varied array of vocal stylings, the album is sure to become a staple in modern Melodic Death Metal.

Orpheus Omega have made a name for themselves over the last few years as one of Australia’s premiere metal bands and will be showing people why with a tour that will see them taking their amazing live show across Australia, annihilating stages in all major cities and many regional centres alike. Bringing the menacing and melodic sounds off their new album, as well as some fan favourites from their previous two offerings this tour is shaping up to be one hell of a blast for all involved.

Joined them as national support will be fellow Melbourne bands Hadal Maw and Hollow World.

Tickets are currently available for selected dates only, with more to be added later.

This is guaranteed to be one not to miss!
