News : Dai Pritchard Band Announce Debut Album and Launch Party

Best known for his years of service with late Australian rock icon Billy Thorpe, as well as Rose Tattoo (after receiving a personal invite by the late Pete Wells to continue the story of the band in his stead in 2004), guitarist Dai Pritchard’s solo project is set to release their debut record, ‘Killin’ Time’, with a special album launch in Sydney only at Frankie’s Pizza this Thursday (11 September).

On the back of what has been a big year for the Dai Pritchard Band they are set to kick it up a notch with the release of their long awaited Debut Album ‘Killin’ Time’. Recorded and co-produced with Mark Tinson at Impromptu Studios in Newcastle NSW. This album has a collection of some of the most requested original songs from the bands extensive original catalogue featuring Jon Fox on Drums, Dave Clews on Bass and Ammiel Warner on keys.

‘Killin’ Time’ is a blues & rock soaked beast with a killer boogie swagger that showcases all his influences and experiences and highlighted Pritchard’s signature sound and backed by a super talented band that matches Dai’s sound and proficiency with ease.

Having performed alongside the likes of Slash on the Australian leg of his world tour at Hisense Arena, Melbourne back in 2012, Dai has built an impressive himself up an impressive career; having toured Europe numerous times with past shows at Wacken and festivals in Donington, England.
