After the already exciting news that was Canadian death metallers Gorguts initial Australian tour announcement back in late May, here comes another piece of excellent news. Thanks to the folks at Direct Touring & The Music, Queensland’s own extreme metal visionaries, Portal, have been announced as the official national support across Gorguts’ three-show tour, which kicks off this November. Active since 1994, with Portal’s most recent album being last years Vexovoid, this is fantastic news for extreme metal fans!

Portal’s addition brings chaotic dissonance and total sonic frequency annihilation to an already extreme situation and completes the hellish atmosphere awaiting all who dare enter the world of Gorguts.

A contrast of extremes, this really is a voyage into darkness and an evening torment that is unmissable.

Gorguts alone is an event. Gorguts and Portal will be life altering.
