After the success of the first Living Death Fest in Melbourne last year, the festival returns this year, packed to the brim with some of the heaviest bands from around Australia.

Headlining this year’s Living Death Fest is DISENTOMB who will be launching their second album MISERY at Living Death Fest. Fans can expect one of Australia’s most brutal acts to be performing their second album Misery in full. It will be the first time people will hear songs from Misery live. Expect blasting, slams, guttural vocals and absolute devastation.

Last year these guys blew up the stage with half the venue slamming and throwing down on the stage with the band. This year it will definitely be even crazier.

Carnal is a “Brutal Tech-Death” band hailing from Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand. Carnal has spent the last 8 years forging their own unique blend of the sickest elements of brutal death, Tech death, slam and grind to create a chaotic aural assault. You can expect bone crushing riffs, relentless blasts, inhuman guttural vocals layered with dual vocal attacks and the sickest slams out.

Internal Nightmare are a four piece Death Metal band from Melbourne who have been around since 2007, the band aim at putting on the most electrifying, chaotic show possible every time they hit the stage with a triple vocal attack to blow people away.

Whoretopsy are a five piece Death Metal band from Melbourne, with their crushing sound they have supported the likes of Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary and most recently Origin. The band put on a punishing live performance and feature some of the most disturbing lyrics around, Whoretopsy are offensively brutal and not for the faint of heart. Look out for their new EP coming soon.

The Seaford Monster are a four piece band Death Metal from Melbourne who Play “Blackened Grind with a splash of slam”. The band has proven themselves time and time again with great live performances with fans wanting a recording of the band, something we hopefully see from them soon.

Black Jesus are a four piece super band of scrap metal increasingly muscularity played by amputated members of society with brain damage of the finest quality.

Chaotic Reference Point are a three piece Experimental Death Metal band from the beautiful Western Suburbs of Melbourne. The band will be launching their debut album at Living Death Fest.

Wounded Pig are a GRIND/CRUST/POWERVIOLENCE three piece from Mount Gambier S.A. The band are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with. Wounded Pig offer an absolute onslaught from start to finish and are definitely a band people should check out.

Involuntary Convulsion are a Brutal Death Metal band from the suburbs of Melbourne.
The band are returning from a short hiatus to work on new material following a recent line up change. Their upcoming EP titled “Tempus Edax Rerums” will involve nothing less than technical, hard hitting brutality.

Amelus is a four piece death metal band that formed late 2012. Delivering pure ancient putrid death metal with the influence of doom and death metal bands such as Cryptopsy, Brutal Truth and Sleep
