News : Melbourne metal charity event this weekend!

By on May 13, 2014

Australia’s finest metal bands are joining force to raise money and awareness for YSAS (Youth Support & Advocacy Services) in Dandenong, for their REVAL Day Program. The REVAL Day Program is an imitative that was developed for underprivileged Teens-to Young Adults, whom have Drug and Alcohol issues. Click here to find out more.

The program is funded by the government, but with anything government related and funded, they tend to be overlooked. So, Melbourne’s heavy metal community have united to make some noise.

The Melbourne based non profit organisation has asked members of Barbariön, Decimatus, Dead City Ruins, Electrik Dynamite, Frankenbok, Witchgrinder, among others to drop their instruments and rip out a couple of classic hits, karaoke style.

The event kicks off this Saturday at The Reverence Hotel in Fitzroy from 7pm and will be hosted by Higgo of Triple M’s Distortion. Tickets are $15 at the door.
