News : A new Mournful Congregation release is on the way

By on April 3, 2014

Adelaide’s Mournful Congregation are a band that need no introduction. With 4 full lengths, three splits (with Worship, Stabat Mater and Stone Wings) as well as a few demos and compilations throughout their 20 year history, the band have more than cemented themselves as the funeral doom kings of Australia.

And it’s that reason that a new release is always exciting; we know what to expect, and we know the quality is going to be right up there with the best. On June 24th, Concrescence of the Sophia will land. It consists of two tracks; the title track clocking in at just over 21 minutes, and Silence of the Passed at 9.

Being released through 20 Buck Spin in North America and Osmose Productions in Europe, Concresence of the Sopia will be available on both vinyl (black and two colours TBA), as well as CD.

No samples are available yet, but this rather awesome artwork is;
