News : Danny Cecati leaves Eyefear

By on February 13, 2014

This is all a bit of a shock. Danny Cecati was the man that gave Eyefear that extra special edge. Today, over on Facebook, Cecati posted the following status;

“Well the time has come for me to move on….I have left Eyefear…no hard feelings or bad blood…just time for a change!!
I want to say a big thanks to the Eyefear guys, their families, and all our friends and fans…your support over the last few years has been amazing!!
Before the rumours start and knowing what the grapevine can be like, I decided to put a short post on here to let everyone know!
Now time for something new…….”

Judging by another post on the official Eyefear page, it’s not an end for the band, with information about their future coming “in due time”.

The band are scheduled to play Sydney’s Steel Assassins festival held on October 31st & November 1st alongside Lord, Taberah, Silent Knight, In Malice’s Wake, Harlott, Alkira, Steelswarm, Blacksmith and a whole bunch of others still TBC.
