News : Stone Temple Pilots pull out of Soundwave 2014

By on January 29, 2014

Stone Temple Pilots have regretfully pulled out of this years Soundwave Festival. The band have cited issues with the recording of their new album as the reason for pulling the pin on their live performance at the 2014 installment of the Soundwave Festival.

The recording of the new album has now gone beyond schedule and sadly the availability of the recording studio, engineers and the producer or lack thereof dictates that the band have had to cancel their upcoming engagements.
Soundwave Touring have selected Australian rock legends, The Living End as the replacement for Stone Temple Pilots. Tickets for the Stone Temple Pilot sideshows (Tuesday 25 February in Sydney and Wednesday 26 February in Melbourne) are now refundable from the point of purchase).
