News : Tankard announce first ever Australia tour

By on December 7, 2013

German thrash metal pioneers Tankard have revealed plans to tour Australia next July. The tour news broke via the Bleed Records Facebook page earlier this week, with a photo and a short message hinting at a potential future tour for the thrash metal quartet.

The tour dubbed “Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be(er)” was officially announced on Friday, 6th December. An official Facebook page has now been launched with the locked in tour dates for next July. Sadly, this tour will only take Tankard to Melbourne and Sydney.

Earlier this year Tankard joined forces with Sodom, Destruction and Kreator for The Big Teutonic 4, a celebration of German thrash metal at the Beastival festival in Germany. An exclusive four-track split EP compilation was released featuring covers of Motörhead and Iron Maiden classics.
