News : The lineup for River Rocks Festival is awesome!

The sixth-annual River Rocks Festival in Geelong is happening at The Barwon Club on Saturday November 9. With 20 bands playing the two stages (with no sets clashing) from 1:00pm ’til 1:00am, this has to be the biggest lineup they’ve had in those six years.

This years festival is co-headlined by Melbourne grinders [and as of tonight, The Age/Music Victoria ‘Best Heavy Album 2013’ award winners – congrats!] King Parrot, and Brisbane rockers Hits.
Other interstate bands include Hobart’s The Roobs and Adelaide’s Meatbeaters and Pro-Tools.

Melbourne sludge-punks DEAD and Japan’s psycho-rhythm attack (with two drummers!) Cyberne will also be playing the festival as a part of their Australian tour, which you can get more info on here.

Tickets to the festival are only $20 + BF (yes, 20 bucks for 20 bands!), and they can be purchased from the venue or from OzTix. This is a lineup that no rock fan should miss.
