News : Former members of Double Dragon and A Red Dawn team up

By on March 21, 2013

Since the demise of Adelaide’s Double Dragon last year, there have no doubt been a lot of people waiting to see where all of the members would go next. Well, as far as Liam Weedall, Josh Lamont and Davin Buttery go, the answer is Voros.

Throughout 2013 the band are planning to release a series of three EPs titled The Sky Burial Part I, II & III. Part 1, for those that missed the news, was released four weeks ago today for free download over at Bandcamp, featuring two tracks recorded at Against The Grain Studios and mixed and mastered by Darren Jenkins (Mortal Sin, Dayend, DepriVation).

While we all play the waiting game for the second and third installments, Voros will make their live debut on April 12th at Never Never Land (Shotz Bar) in Adelaide with For The Vultures, Zero Hour and Sedulous Rouse, and a second show on May 17th at the Enigma Bar with Seven Acts Of Mercy, In Death… and Amoderndeath.
