News : Want to see Ceremonial Castings tour? Well here’s how you can help…

By on February 18, 2013

While it seems the whole fundraising thing is all the rage for album recording at the moment, it’s moving into tour territory as well. Versatrix Australia in partnership with Brimstone Bookings have put together a bit of an initiative to bring bands to Australia on a more financially safe level.

“Once per year a band will be approached to take part in our Non-Profit initiative. We will fund-raise to cover all the costs (so that we don’t have to take any of the profits from the shows to cover business expenses) and ALL profits from the shows will go DIRECTLY to the bands performing. We’ve been approved to promote this project through Pozible, and we need help to reach the Target of $15,000 – That’s $167 a day for the duration of the project. There are great rewards available for those that get in quick for pledges of $25, $50, and $100, however, these are limited. $1600 has been pledged already within the first few days of the project being live”

So if you’d be keen to see US black metallers Ceremonial Castings hit Australian soil, here’s the link where you can help out and get a whole lot of other information about the project.
