News : Black Trillium cover Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones and Trouble on new EP

By on February 11, 2013

Around the middle of 2012 Sydney’s Black Trillium released an absolutely superb debut release in the form of The Locked Woods. Their Candlemass-meets-My Dying Bride makes their new EP a somewhat interesting piece when it comes to the choice of covers.

The Black Trillium comes out on Valentine’s Day (Feb 14th, for those unromantic folk) has one new track, apparently “the band’s most doom laden effort so far“, plus covers of Black Sabbath‘s “Electric Funeral”, The Rolling Stones‘ “Paint It, Black” and Trouble‘s “The Tempter.

The release will pop up on their Bandcamp page on the day.
